Coming Soon - ergoPouch Bamboo Sleep Bags
ergoPouch are just about to release 2 types bamboo sleep bags (bamboo fleece and bamboo sheeting), which are modelled on their existing alpaca sleep bags.
I have been lucky enough to have one (bamboo fleece) for around a week now. Jacob has been sleeping in it every night since in conjunction with ergoPouch’s bamboo pj’s and I have been getting an extra hour and half hours sleep out of him, and he has not woken once thru the night. And if you live in victoria you would know that we have had just about every season’s weather in the past week.
Retail $79.00 AU ( $51 USD - will ship)
They should be available any day now, Alina is just waiting for the final shipment to hit our shores. I do have 2 x 18-36 months and 1 x 9-18 months bags in stock at styledbaby if you cant wait . email chantal@styledbaby.com.au

Sleeping Better with Natural Fibres:
Sleeping with natural fibres, such as alpaca and bamboo , has long been known to give a better nights sleep, and now we know why. Natural fibres disperse
moisture from the skin, providing an even warmth and body temperature. Studies have consistently confirmed that sleeping comfort is highly dependent upon the
body achieving its own unique optimal temperature balance for a restful and revitalising nights sleep. If during the natural sleeping cycle, the body is too warm or
too cold, the human body will either consciously or subconsciously adjust its position in bed, thereby causing a disruption to the natural sleep cycle. All
ergopouch products contain natural fibres such as bamboo, alpaca or organic cotton to help babies sleep better.
Seamless Ergonomic Design
Endures the rigors of an active sleeper.
Developed with stretch inserts, fits snugly allowing your
baby to move freely without getting tangled and upset.
Double ended zipper for easy nappy access
Safe Sleeping
The ergopouch is strictly compliant with all safety regulations
and will assist with the prevention of SIDS
ErgoPouch Fabric Technology
Stays 2-3 degrees cooler in hot weather & warmer in cold
Naturally supersoft
Absorbs water 3-4 times better than cotton
Hypo-allergenic / Anti-bacterial / Anti-fungal / Anti-static
Eco Friendly made naturally - no pesticides, no chemicals
Resists dust and mites
Eco Friendly
Ergopouch use fabrics that are not only good for babies but good
forthe environment. No Chemicals or pesticides are used to make

There has been much debate about Bisphenol A (BPA), used in baby bottles and instant formula containers, some say the small ampounts used are safe, some say it effect the repoductive system and other s say it can cause neural and behavioral problems in fetuses, infants and children. So air on the side of caution, I say, there are baby bottle alternatives, becoming more and readily available for mums who don’t want to the risk with their baby.

Aden & Anais Muslin Wraps Back In Stock
Just in time for summer, styled baby has Aden & Anais Muslin wraps back in stock after our last batch sold out fast.
These wraps are a very generous 120 x 120cm in 100% cotton with fabulous prints, or plain white, which are popular for people to purchase the 4 pack, and tie a blue or pink ribbon around one wrap and give a small gift, for when a card is not enough but can not justify a costly gift either. And still have 3 more in the cupboard for the next time, as we all know we can get caught off guard and have to produce a baby gift with no notice.

Special Delivery

This promotion is only available to babies born at the Hamilton Base Hospital and issued at styled baby's discretion.

Aden & Anais Muslin Wrap - Product Review
Product Review By Erin - Readers Special Pricing, see details below
Having recently purchased a set of Aden + Anais muslin wraps, I am an instant convert and also have all of my friends buying them like there’s no tomorrow.
With fantastic colours and designs – and their groovy new zoo animals design – I was spoilt for choice. They are super soft and a nice close weave, but still allow breathing.
Otherwise known as swaddling clothes, the muslin wraps are a sensational size – a very generous 120cm x 120cm (approx). No more escaping for my little tot!!
Aside from swaddling, the wrap can also be used as an open sheet, on the floor for tummy time and as a stroller shade (drapes nicely given its large sizing).
You may think muslin in muslin, right? Wrong!
There are so many scratchy, poorly woven and super tiny muslin wraps on the market that resemble hessian. So do you self a favour and discover aden and anais. Which by the way are two ex aussies living in the US and were horrified when they discovered they couldn’t get any half decent muslin in the states.
There is also a winter weight which consists of several layers of the same soft muslin, still allowing baby’s body temperature to adjust naturally without overheating and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw them at the pregnancy and baby expo in Melbourne. Which is were I also got a sneak peak and the new muslin sleeping bags, available soon.
The following information is taken from
www.adenandanais.com
Muslin is a unique cotton fabric first introduced into England in the late 17th century. Muslin has a light, open weave that allows air to flow seamlessly through the material. The soft natural fibers allow your baby's body temperature to adjust naturally, eliminating over-heating, but ensuring warmth and comfort. aden + anais wraps will allow you to safely swaddle your baby, giving you confidence that your baby will experience a peaceful and secure sleep.
why swaddle?
This age old technique is used to make your baby feel safe and secure:
Swaddling helps to make your baby feel secure and comfortable, as it is designed to imitate the security of the enclosed surroundings they experienced in the womb
Swaddling helps your baby sleep on their back, the pediatrician recommended sleeping position.
Swaddling helps your baby stay asleep by reducing sudden arm and leg movements (startle reflexes)
Swaddling keeps your baby's face uncovered
Swaddling prevents your baby moving around the crib and getting into dangerous or uncomfortable positions

Why Bamboo?

Bamboo is, in my opinion where babies clothing and bedding is heading, and will be a main stream material, it’s just a matter of time.
Bamboo ticks all the box’s and some that were never on the list before.
Firstly it is eco friendly
Bamboo grows to maturity within 4 to 5 years, and is self generating. Bamboo grows without the aid of fertilizers and insecticides (cotton growing accounts for a reported 25% of the world’s fertilizers and insecticides usage) Bamboo is the world’s most sustainable plant, It also releases 35% more oxygen than equivalent stands of trees.
Bamboo 100% biodegradable and non-toxic: As a natural cellulose fiber, bamboo is 100% biodegradable and the decomposition process does not cause any pollution to the environment.
Great for baby
Bamboo is soft and silky to touch, bamboo has natural wicking properties, meaning that it absorbs moisture – like sweat, away from you babies skin and evaporates it quickly, and is lightweight, very breathable and hypoallergenic, which is great news for babies with eczema and other skin conditions. Bamboo fibre is also a natural UV protective qualities.
Bamboo is anti-bacterial, with a 70% elimination rate when incubated with bacteria, even after 50 washes.
